Graphically speaking this is a very interesting design. I like that you chose to make the wings look pure black. Almost as if they are a shadow, and no one can see them except those who know about it. Very nice image, the white ballance here really makes it seem clean! Great job!

Hehe, I didn't really think that 'nobody can see them except those who know about it' when I made the piece, but you're right, it does apply really well to the message I'm trying to express (so :shh: don't tell anyone I wasn't thinking that) ^_^.
I was actually considering just submitting the original as stock, but then decided I wanted to try and see if I could give my clothes a 'torn' look...and it kindda just went from there (ever had one of those moments when you're working on something and then you go 'what if I did this'? and you get stuck working on a 15 min piece for like 6 hours?).

I was trying to add artificial mascara, but it didn't work too well.
